On 10th of September, sixth class pupils from Graciano Atienza School in Villarrobledo (Albacete) visited Renovalia offices there. This action forms part of Renovalia’s Our Future is Green (“OFG”) project, which seeks to educate about protecting the environment and raise awareness to climate change.

Renovalia executive, Manuel Martinez, a member of the volunteer network set up for the OFG project gave a talk on the environment and different sources of renewable energies. The pupils were also shown how the Control Centre for all Renovalia’s facilities around the world works, and thus they learnt how each site is managed by the Operation & Maintenance (O&M) team.

The pupils were then taken on a visit to tour “Casa del Angel” photovoltaic farm where they learned first-hand how solar energy is obtained.
