On 17 and 18 May, a cycling race organised by the Provincial Council and the Castilla-La Mancha Cycling Federation was held in Villarrobledo (Albacete) called the ‘Vuelta a los Viñedos’ (Tour of the Vineyards).
This event, which was held for the first time, was a national competition for the male cadet and female under-19 categories, consisting of a time trial and a 56 kilometres road race with the participation of 150 athletes from cycling clubs across the country.
At Renovalia, we wanted to participate in this event, and as part of our support for nature and grassroots and women’s sports in the towns where we operate in accordance with our CSR policies, we were one of the sponsors of the Vuelta a los Viñedos, awarding the Renovalia trophy to the ‘Best Young Cyclist’ of the race.
