Renovalia has once again received the Gold Sponsor certificate from Gavi, “the Vaccine Alliance,” presented by its partner, “La Caixa” Foundation.
Gavi is an international organization dedicated to improving access to vaccines—especially for children—against life-threatening, preventable diseases in developing countries. Since its founding in 2000, 1.2 billion children—half of the world’s child population—have been vaccinated through Gavi’s programs. This has prevented 20.6 million future deaths, helping to halve child mortality in 78 low-income countries. For its extraordinary work, among other awards, it received the Princess of Asturias Award for International Cooperation in 2020.
