Our 125 MW plant in Bolarque (Guadalajara) has been awarded the Seal of Excellence in Sustainability by the Spanish Photovoltaic Union (UNEF). This recognition is granted to facilities that meet the highest standards in sustainability, governance, socioeconomic impact, and engagement with local communities, including criteria such as minimal environmental impact, positive reception by the local community, creation of local value, and no or minimal land expropriation. The 127-hectare Bolarque plant, located in the municipalities of Yebra, Zorita de los Canes, and Almonacid de Zorita (Guadalajara), serves as a model of territorial integration and commitment to sustainability. Its development was based on agreements with local landowners—therefore, no land expropriation was required—and on the implementation of measures to compensate landowners and protect biodiversity.
