Renovalia has joined the Spanish Society of Soil Science (SECS) as a Corporate Partner. SECS is a nonprofit scientific organization founded in 1947 under the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). Among its objectives are the study, understanding, research, and protection of soil; raising awareness of its important role in ecosystems; and preserving the knowledge acquired about soil for its optimal use. In collaboration with this scientific organization, the Polytechnic University of Valencia, and the University of Valencia, we have sponsored the National Soil Description and Classification Competition. The event serves as an intensive hands-on course where university students from various faculties and technical schools (including agronomy, forestry, and biology, among others) analyze soil profiles for subsequent scientific classification.
